Monica Fonseca leaves being a TV host to work in a factory

The businesswoman will make a 180 turn in her career to lead a cause for a month that will change the lives of thousands of Colombian children

 

The journalist and host will occupy the position of Director of Sonrisas en La Fabrica de Nutricion (Director of Smiles in the Nutrition Factory) with the goal of helping mitigate the effects of malnutrition in Colombia; donating glasses of milk through Alqueria. The goal is 1,500,000 glasses of miles to feed thousands of children.

 

Fonseca has worked in radio, television, is recognized for he publications in social media and technological projects, and was a judge of Project Runway Latin America, but with this project, she will accomplish a purpose that she has pursued for many years: contribute to childhood nutrition. 

 

According to her posts on social media, this new position as Director of Smiles will bring her great satisfaction and joy in leaving her role as host to confront a challenge with high social impact. 

 

This new step comes in a perfect moment to commemorate the World Milk Day. Working in the Nutrition Factor, where people will be able to donate as many glasses of milk as they want through Alqueria, she will work so 5,200 boys and girls will have access to a daily glass of milk. 

 

She will not be the only collaborator in the Fabric. Anyone who wants to join and work at the Nutrition Fabric will be able to do so as Director of Hugs, Coordinator of Smiles, Happiness Helper, and other symbolic and inspiring positions that will allow the delivery of milk to the various regions in Colombia to feed the little ones. 

 

Participating is easier than it seems, you just have to enroll your position at www.fabricadelanutricion.com and that’s it! Alqueria will donate 20 glasses of milk for every member that joins the Nutrition Factory and shares it with their friends on Facebook.
